The 5400 case printer combines superior printheads with unique Touch Dry® ink jet technology to reliably print 100% scannable bar codes and detailed logos. Because the 5400 is an online case printing system, it helps you avoid the costs associated with stockpiling an inventory of pre-printed cartons of labels while still enjoying the benefits of high-quality text and images. It comes complete with a "User Interface Module", but can also be run from a PC running "Composer" Software for printing of barcodes and logos.

Up to 4 Printheads. The 5400 has 256 ink jet reliable printheads that easily print on 2 sides of your carton.

Superior Print Resolution. The 5400 case coder uses an addressable 256-jet printhead that jets the hot melt resin. The resin hardens on contact with the surface and provides a high resolution, quality code for graphics, logos, bar codes or product information like flavor, style, size or real-time codes.

Flexible. The 5400 can print on virtually every known substrate used in case and carton packaging, including coated and uncoated corrugated cardboard, glossy surfaced, rigid plastics, flexible films and shrinkwrap.

100% Scannable Codes. The bar code contrast is superior to any other ink jet and the code can be scanned even on the most difficult cartons. There is no weeping of the image and the quality is not affected by recycled content. The bar codes remain 100% scannable.

No other ink jet case printing system offers the flexibility to print on multiple sides, on so many substrates with such exceptional reliability, quality and value.
