Griffin-Rutgers is proud to represent the Sato line of Thermal
Transfer and Thermal Direct Label Printers. The product range
of these high quality barcode printers includes units suitable
for use as desktop printers, as well as heavy-duty printers
for use in an industrial environment. These units allow for
thermal transfer or thermal direct printing of virtually all
bar codes, graphics and text. 
The recently developed
Windows® compatible M-84Pro Series direct thermal/thermal
transfer printers, are a new generation of high-resolution
printers
that print images with a resolution of up to 609 dots per
inch (dpi) and a print speed of up to 12 inches per second.
The user easily accomplishes changes in print resolution
from
203 dpi to 305 dpi or 609 dpi by simply installing the appropriate
print head.
 The
Sato CX Series reflects the innovative design and reliability
that has become synonymous with the Sato name. Its portability
and compact design allow it to fit in anywhere – on a
crowded work surface or at a busy warehouse or even on a desk
– next to a computer. This unit, which is supplied complete
with software, is extremely economical offering a print speed
of 3" per second.
SATO CT Series desktop thermal
transfer/thermal direct printers feature ultra high processing
speed, as well as a Windows driver which allows for the creation
of labels using virtually any Windows based program. Available
in either 203 or 305 dpi Print Resolution, these units will
also print all popular linear and two-dimensional symbologies.
 The
Sato CLe Series, which includes the Sato CL408e and CL412e
offers a choice between
a 203 or 305 dpi print head. They handle a maximum media
width of 5.1", with a print area of 4.1" wide x 14"
long. Also included in the CLe Series is the Sato CL608e and
CL612e, which handle a maximum media width of 7", with
a print area of up to 6.5" wide x 14" long.
Print speed for
the CLe Series ranges between 6" per second for the CL4xxe and 8" per
second for the CL6xxe. They feature 32 Bit RISC Processors,
PCMCIA Slots, a two-line LCD Display and Tricolor LED Indicators.
These units have 12 Standard Fonts and 16 Bar Code Symbologies
built into them. They all provide excellent print quality
at a reasonable price.
